The posting/waiting period for St. Thomas weddings, however, may be done through a local wedding planner thus eliminating an on-island waiting period. More and more couples are coming to the U.S. Virgin Islands for their entire St. Thomas wedding experience. Applications for a marriage license are done through the Clerk of the Territorial Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands (for a copy of the application call 340.774.6680 ext. 6607).
